Update on Noreau per Jess Rubenstein is that he broke his hand in a fight on March 9th.

Bad but at least it's not a head injury or a leg.

Kid WILL get a contract.

Notre Dame 4th line has been awesome.

4th line is DiPauli-Fogarty-Schneider. Been great in OZ and solid in own end. Difference makers so far.

Have there been any real indications that Fast is indeed coming over soon? I haven't seen anything more than speculation.

From the last page:

Help could be on the way Fast for the Rangers, whose inability to score is suffocating the team’s chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

Informed sources have told The Post 21-year-old right wing Jesper Fast, the club’s sixth-round selection in the 2010 Entry Draft, is awaiting release from the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and could join the Blueshirts by the middle of next week.

Fast, whose HV 71 club was eliminated from the first round of the Swedish Elite League playoffs on Thursday, is a prime candidate to play for Team Sweden in the World Championships and thus must be granted permission by the authorities in order to join the Rangers.

Dipauli and Fogarty have developed a nice Chemistry. Dipauli was taken by the Caps in the 2012 draft, 4th round.

:shakehead

This is exactly why I don't want our prospects gooning it up against some nobody from St. Louis du ha ha Quebec.

It stinks but at least it's a hand that will heal. It would have been nice for him to get some playoff experience but it's the best possible situation for a long term injury.

Kid has done enough to warrant a contract in my opinion. Has worked his tail off since 2011.

Really liked what I saw from him in Traverse City 2011.

I watched the last half of the game. Fogarty's line was camped in the offensive zone. Kid looked pretty good. Got a couple shots. Looks really big out there.

I can't find the michigan game on anywhere. Someone have a stream for it?

Fogarty was robbed on the backhand by Hjelle's glove. Fogarty received the fast pass on the backhand, beauty.

Michigan vs Miami is at 4:30est. I have it on Fox College Sports.

Yeah, I don't get FCS apparently. They were showing the Notre Dame game on MSG+

what a hit by Lindberg

Wow great hit!! Perfectly legal in every way also, had the arm in at the time of contact, shoulder to shoulder, the impact looked like it snapped the guys head back since he was looking away and his visor injured him more then anything. Keep your head up!

Edit- and before people start saying it was an elbow, or he jumped, or he hit him in the face, here is the point of impact, and yes he does have control of the puck:

Perfect, clean, hard hit. Love it.

I think this kid could be a real sleeper kind of reminding me of a John Madden type in body type playing style etc . Which would be huge going forward if he could project to be a 3 C and Miller could develop into a 2C . Having Stepan ,miller , OL , up te middle and I. Burdening ourselves of Brad and redistributing that wealth towards a physical LW and another defensemen would make the NYR better in today's NHL .

i have never seen him play and i know he has offensive skills and good on faceoffs based off highlights and what i read.. i didnt know he had any grit or toughness to his game... seems to be a complete player.. lets hope he makes hits like this when he comes to the NHL. im pulling for him.. i wonder why the Yotes dealt him for Werek

Lindberg really broke out at the pro level after they traded him which was great for us, I don't think anyone expected him to be one of the best young players in the SEL. He's really turning into quite the player.

Werek family had close ties with the Maloney family.

You'll see people go absolutely nuts over trading Kundratek or not resigning JAM...but yet nobody gives credit to moves like this.

I wonder why.
