2007 Born for the 2023 Draft

Like we have all been speculating about for a while, shoutout to @OHL4Life for voicing this information on here first - even though it got taken down for “speculation“ even though he is probably the most connected guy on these boards.
Correct me if i'm wrong but if I recall correctly what he "speculated" was that Martin would only report to 3 teams and that the Soo wasn't one of them.

Those 3 aren't happening. I don't think that's speculation either, unless they make a trade for him a year from now.
Okay, it seems like you’re not understanding. I’ll spell it out for you.

Soo is picking Brady Martin tomorrow, even though they’re aware he may not report.
Soo is going to try their best to convince him before the deadline to report - if not, they’re okay getting a bunch of draft picks and deferring the pick until next season.

Brady Martin and his family want him to play in one of Owen Sound, Guelph or Kitchener next season. But he won’t make it that far, because Soo are selecting him.

And that may yet prove to be true?
or untrue. time will tell.

I understand entirely. Spelling it out for me makes you seem arrogant. And until the pick happens, and he reports or refuses to, you and anybody else claiming to know anything are speculating. Being condescending doesn't change that.

Maybe you don’t belong in this thread if you’re going to be so sour about whatever it is you’re sour about.

I appreciate the discourse - but I’m done replying to you.

With this in mind, as of today, of those three teams, Guelph is the only one with the picks right now to make a trade in September for Martin.

That doesn’t mean one or both of Kitchener / Owen Sound could not make deals to acquire picks to make a trade.

But as of now, Guelph is best set up to make that trade.

I don't see Owen Sound as a realistic option. As of now, the best they could do is 2 2nds and 4 3rds but that would empty the cupboards. They should recoup some assets from the surplus 03s but that doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room for other needs in a year they expect to content.

It is refreshing to see Owen Sound listed as a destination a player will go to though lol.

I have been hearing Griffin to Oshawa at 6 also. but They do like a couple of names there - don’t believe that pick is set in stone, yet.
If not selected by Niagara, where would a player like Czata typically be selected in this draft? 2nd round?

I had him ranked at 38 in my final ranking but I know OHL teams really liked him since he projects as a centre, and there isn’t too many good ones this year. I’d say from 15-25.

Here’s another:

WHERE IS THE MEDIA GUIDE!!?!?!?!?!??!!?

lol

Edit 1: ooops... hahahaahahah totally didn't read before posting...my bad.

Edit 2: Is there not a list of the draft order from top to bottom somewhere?
