Here is the full list of OHL entrapment.

a lot of these I had no idea they fell under the OHL. Nice to get a definite list.

Anyone think Erie may have heavy interest in drafting Mooney being a Pennsylvania product?

I'm not sure if there's been talk of him going ncaa or not but I figured if so then Erie definitely has the inside track on having him report to the OHL.

Doubt it. He is NTDP bound from what I know.

Some team will take a shot in the mid rounds of the draft.

If Erie's smart they take him in the 6th round and play up the hometown factor

The U18 All Ontario tourney is usually the same week as the OHL cup so the league champs don't get to participate. if the Soo wins, none of their 07's will be able to play as they'll be somewhere else.

at least that's the way its been in the past....
So it looks like this year should have almost all the best NOHA players available to select team NOHA for the OHL Cup. North Bay U18 just won the league vs Soo, so no NB U18 players are available but I think the only 07 they have is Jacob Payeur.

All other 07s in the GNML should be available for selection.

12 teams have clinched their spot in the OHL Cup. The Halton Hurricanes, Huron-Perth Lakers, London Jr. Knights, Mississauga Rebels, Mississauga Senators, Peterborough Jr. Petes, Southern Tier Admirals, Sun County Panthers, Toronto Jr. Canadiens, Toronto Marlbors, Waterloo Wolves, and York-Simcoe Express are all in.

Five teams have also clinched spots in an OHL Cup wild card game. The Ajax-Pickering Raiders, Don Mills Flyers, Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs, Lambton Jr. Sting, and Vaughan Kings

Is it not interesting that the NOHA is allowed a select team but they do not permit Ottawa to do the same......

Gotta think they've been approached about that but declined since Ottawa does U18 and not U16
But I think that's a big reason why the NOHA does it. Lots of these kids play on U18 teams (Soo, Timmins) so a select team allows them to play where otherwise they would be ineligible playing for a U18 team.

Interesting. He could still have interest in playing for the USNTDP. He may have just told them he wouldn't be there if his team continued to advance in the playoffs
The GTHL final series means nothing though. Both teams are already through to the OHL Cup, which is the tournament that matters

Also, the USA hockey program historically doesn't take too kindly to people who don't put USA hockey as their #1 cc: Ty Voit not even getting invited to USA WJ tryouts because he went OHL instead of USNTDP

I would think they would appreciate the loyalty to his team....but hey maybe I'm missing something here. It's not like he's missing an actual event.

Hopefully an OHL team can convince him to come because to me there's a clear top 6 and the Gens will be picking 6th lol

Hoping the Gens get one of Roobroeck, Moore, Schaefer, Martin, Hopkins, or Griffin. Need to see more of Weir at the OHL Cup, but right now he's not in that group for me

if you draft moore your not getting him until hes 18, the u17 team will be announced with player commits before the draft

if they are drafting 6 they should get one, only schaefer is willing to go to niagara and he probably goes 1 right now. niagara will have to go a bit off the board at 5 and probably at 2, 3 or 4 if they dont get 1.
