1-1. Slovakia just tied it on a two-man advantage. Very questionable officiating once again.

2-1 Sweden. Beautiful goal by Bergfors off a two-on-one just as a Swedish penalty ended.

thanks for the updates Macman, they are appreciated as usual. Anyone in particular looking good out there for the blue and yellow?

4-1 Sweden in the second. PP goal by Hjalmarsson. Apologies for spelling.

The whole team, actually, but in particular Bergfors, Backstrom and Pettersson. Sweden is playing very well. I'm impressed by this team's grit. They seem more willing to stick their noses in and be physically involved than any Swedish team I've seen in a long while. The defence is also very strong.

The Slovak goalie is the only thing keeping this game close. He's playing very well.

Uh oh. It's 4-3 now. Slovak goal with 36 seconds to go in the second. Swedish breakdown in their own end.

Can someone give me the top 05 eligible prospects involved in this game, and their numbers?

With Central Scouting rankings....

For Sweden
#10 - Nicklas Bergfors(6)

For Slovakia
#19 - Richard Lelkes(9)
#12 - Juraj Mikus(19)
#29 - Vladimir Kovac(5, goalie)

Geez, it wouldn't surprise me the least if the Slovaks win this one. It would be pretty typical.. :shakehead

Geez, now the Swedish goalie is keeping them in the game. As Pierre McGuire just said, "What's happened to the Swedes? They've just stopped working."

The Swedes are trapping now and trying to hang on. They're generating nothing in the way of offence. If they blow this one...
