We just need Holtby to play and the tank will be running smoothly again. It’s much like the Bad News Bears when the girl wasn’t pitching. The entire team falls apart watching the other pitcher mess up.

As I pointed out in another thread, anyone can walk a 2by4 when there is no pressure, no expectations, and no consequences.

It is no surprise that a Benning/Weisbrod-Green constructed team collapsed when the season was on the line from the get-go, and is performing better after achieving a 3% chance of making playoffs.

Once any kind of pressure ramps up, they will struggle, and will need otherworldly goaltending to succeed.
