I'm so close. please. tell me it's not so bad.

transistor radio told me it was a good game. was it really a good game? only caught the last 4 minutes.

Meh, its not too bad. Age is just a number.

As per the game, good start, but then got sloppy, but their 3rd period was excellent. Kept pushing even with the lead and Chris Kreider is on the “The Rangers better not dare trade him” list.

if i told you i listen to classical music on it sometimes, what age would i be then?

Brady was scratched? just read eco's post. sheesh, i seem to have missed a lot
I’d say you sound like a married man with 3 kids who lives in a suburban home with a ridiculous mortgage with a job that you hate:laugh:

Rebuilding year lol

2 pts. :( - RIP J. Hughes

I admit I`m suprised we manage to win this game when we have injuries on key players, but I`m happy for both Chytil & Lias with 1 point each, and Kreider`s best of the season without any doubts! :thumbu:

- Skjei benched
- Buch (injured)
- Zucc (injured)

Vegas won the cup. yes
No, Vegas didn't win the cup.....but you knew that, right? So, what is your point. My point was.....that if a thrown together team can do what they did.....then I suppose that any tezm that truly plays hard, somewhat talented with good goaltending and defense......and plays "as a team" and good coaching......is what? A bottom feeder? No, they are a PO team and possible cup winner. Just saying.....what was your point again?

Win it all or bust? Jeez. If that is your point, you will never truly enjoy what you are watching or supporting in some way.

Good night yo and all.

I like the Rangers power play a lot. They move it around really well--they have guys getting to the net and crowding the goalie. They work hard at retrieving pucks and helping each other out when there's a scrum for the puck and they're getting the puck to the net. It's not the usual bullshit f*** around pretty play thing anymore.

Ryan Strome had 16:42 min. ice time and did not do much except 4 hits and 1 BLK`s, but he had 60% FO% so I guess the coach tried him out in his debute game 1-0 win stat with him on the ice to look at things in a positive perspective.

ias Andersson however need to be sent back to Wolfpack - he cannot have 6:42 ice time. I don`t look at his assist as important compare to play top 6 minutes at Wolfpack while developing and he had 12 pts before he was called up. If coach Quinn refuse to play him in a top 9 role in consider ice time and talent level it`s better that he continue to develop in AHL in near future.

I honestly believe that they will.

Slightly more than half the league makes the playoffs, and the Rangers have already stacked a ton of extra points, so idk why people would still be like “yo this fool thinks the team is somwhere among the top 16 teams maybe somewhere between 20th and 14th, and thinks we can make the playofff? Gtf out of here! High fives and ass slaps all around y’all!”

This feels like the Chytil conversation all over again. This is the ice time Lias is most likely getting for the foreseeable future until Quinn feels he’s ready for a bigger role.

It’s worked with Chytil, no clue if Lias will resound the same way.

And the Rangers did well tonight.

I can understand pulling out fringe stats when the team loses to say what is the coach thinking, but when the team does well, the coach must have made the correct decision?

No they can't.

This team's record is much better than the actual performance.

Some of ya'll are gonna be finding the tallest building to jump off of in a few weeks when things start to fall apart.

And I’m not sure people see the hilarity in having the same disproved argument again.

It’s only November, and there already has been huge , tin foil hat bordering discussions on how Quinn hated/tried to ruin ADA and Chytil by sending them up and down, and then not playing them as some posters saw fit only to see that all that conjecture was complete bullshit and the players came along.

I’m sure the Lias case if totally different though. :sarcasm:

I also think that’s why they aren’t as concerned.

See when I don’t see the chance for long term end game success, I get sad and question what Im doing with my life, and why I’m spending so much f***ing money on this team.

But when the Rangers do bad or fizzle out, most of these guys seem to have a blast shitting on the team and players, so there’s nothing to lose. They can have fun either way.

Quinn was still wrong for the way he handled the Chytil situation, and it is being proven rn

That quote was from September 28th. A lot can happen in a month and a half.

I think they saw how Chytil is responding and they’ll hope to get the same result with Lias.

The situation is still the same. 7 minutes a game with a goon and an AHL player isn't going to help his development.

Chytil has plenty of ice time and chances before he got his reduced role.

Some may argue he is now playing the way he is because of that demotion.
And I would argue that he was playing extremely well before his demotion, just not getting points and that the points would eventually come if given a situation to succeed in. And look goals in 3 straight since being given serious minuets again
