I'll order you a red cap and a Speedo.
Is it just me or did Kopitar look to dish it off to Lewis every chance he could get?
The dude just looks lost out there.

Well, he's not wrong. If the puck bounces off Carter's stick into the net it's a different game. 77 is not going to miss many of those.
19 games left, 1 point out of a playoff spot with two of the top 5 goalies in the league..Kings are going to be fine. All they need to do is get in.

So was Kempe injured or just a healthy scratch? I wouldn't mind seeing McNabb sit in favor of LaDue/Gravel. The young Dmen have shown some great promise coming up from the AHL. Sure there's some hickups here and there but they've played well.
Healthy scratch. I would have preferred his speed on the 1st line. But maybe there is a trade brewing and they didn't want to risk injury.
Maybe Kopitar has something serious going on in his personal life? I hope not, but this season is so crazy bad for him I can't come up with any other explanation.

Carter missed an absolute lay-up of a pass from Martinez in OT. How many of you would be complaining about Kopitar if Carter had hit the net? I don't see anyone blaming Carter, but a crap-ton of posts blaming bagging on Kopitar.
Kopitar had a strong game, was assertive, had the puck on his stick a ton, and shot the puck every chance he had. He created the chance that led to Pearson's goal and had a primary assist. The OT goal was not his fault.
It's gotten to the point where some of us posters are looking for a scapegoat for the whole season and can't get past one guy, even if he had a good game. Save it for a game where Kopitar sucks. There have been plenty this year and there might be a few more.

He has six ****ing goals and is earning $14M this season. Are you serious with this crap? Of course people are going to complain about him if he doesn't help the team win games. He has not performed up to his standards. You'd have to be blind or brain dead to ignore the fact that his lackadaisical play all season long has hurt the team immensely.
I get the frustration on Kopi. As he goes, so go the Kings.
I still think something has yet to be revealed about him.
I'm waiting to see if he needs surgery after the year or not.
I could care less how much his actual salary is. It's the cap space that hurts.
He's in a true funk. Not sure if he will snap out of it this season.
He is still a major asset to this team. Even Carter's success hinges on the match ups made available playing behind Kopi.
Fun fact: Vinny Lecavalier scored more goals with the Kings last season than Kopitar has this season.
A player on the verge of retirement scored more than the team captain, who also happens to be one of the highest paid players in the NHL.
