When the Kings missed the playoffs two years ago, didn't it come to us versus the Flames? It feels like that season all over again.

That might have been the season the Flames kept beating us over and over in the final 3 minutes of the game.

If they trade, LaDue, Kempe, Brozds, Clague, or 1st round pick for a rental I'm seriously going to be **** ed.

Bwah! Thanks for the laugh.

The only problems with the Blues is how easy their schedule is.....couple more road games, but 3 against the Avs and 3 against the Coyotes.

Which wouldn't change anything had the Kings won tonight. Or last night too. The Blues will still have an easy schedule. All the Kings can do is plug away, get as many points as they can, and the chips will fall the way they fall.

Cause people are not getting it.

It doesn't matterhow Muzzin/King/Lewis ETC all these guys we love to ***** about are playing. It doesn't matter.

When Kopitar is just killing the Kings chances of winning any games.

If Kopitar doesn't bounce back in a big way next season his is the worst contract in the NHL bar none.

The new CBA negotiations may save us, but it's still a few years away.

I heard today that Kings management is putting up a reward for any information on Kopitars game went. They're looking also into placing a picture of Kopitars heart on a milk carton to see if it leads to any information.

You know, as down as I am on this team. They got two points against two good teams. Carter's deflection was just off from another point.

I'm pushing for them at this point. It ain't pretty but they are still my team. I'll take a playoff round over moving up four spots.

Call up Brodzinski and get it done.

Just win.

Exactly.

We can moan about King/Lewis/McNabb ETC, when it actually matters.

Right now, it doesn't

Yeah, complaining about King is a luxury.

Who are the Kings supposed to sell at the deadline? King? The guy nobody likes, who can't skate, and who brings a little bit of PKing to a team? That guy is going to be worth something? There's nobody to sell. For example, Lombardi would be selling low on Muzzin if he traded him right now. Then in a few months or years I'm sure we'll all complain about that time Lombardi screwed the organization by not getting enough for Muzzin.

They've at least made their bed for the season. They got Bishop, so they're not selling.

Maybe Kopitar has something serious going on in his personal life? I hope not, but this season is so crazy bad for him I can't come up with any other explanation.

I'm starting to get tired of hearing how great the defensive structure is, yet continue to lose games when it breaks down. The offense needs to take the load off, so when a mistake is made, it won't cost them the game.

His wrist might still be ****ed up and if it is, I bet he gets surgery in the off-season. Didn't the same thing happen to Carter a couple seasons ago? Messed up his wrist and needed surgery in the off-season?

At this point if the wrist is still an issue they should shut him down, have him get surgery and give him an extended offseason to rehab and train. He's hurting more than helping at this point

On the bright side: (for you, Brad Doty)

Pearson is still going strong, scoring or assisting game after game.

Paul LaDue looks good and has progressed far faster than I expected this season.

Forbort, where did this play come from? Our caterpillar has become a butterfly. /sappiness

We kept the Phlegms to one goal during regulation, scored first, and got a point out of this.

Blues lost tonight. They traded away Shattenkirk. We have a realistic chance of grabbing their spot.

All you have to do is look at the situations they've come up short in to see that. Overall, they still give up few goals, but it's the way they give them up. The way they've done it for a while now. Last year they lost a late 2nd period 3-0 lead at home to Winnipeg in the last game of the season with the division on the line. Who knows what happened in Games 1 and 2 against SJ in 2014.

The structure is there, but the players are different, whether that's because of age, or the cap, or whatever. They had Muzzin and Martinez at $1m in 2014, which allowed them to have veterans like Mitchell and Regehr around. Now Muzzin and Martinez make what Mitchell and Regehr used to, a little more actually, and that's going to be a different mix with Forbort, Gravel, and LaDue as the new Muzzin and Martinez.

As long as he isnt beating the **** out of his wife. Two young kids is tough though, a newborn in the house isnt going to help.
