I miss the mojo of that '20 team that it didn't matter the score they would somehow keep clawing back. Ever since last year this team just falls flat at the first sign of adversity.

No one expected much from that team. Much more pressure last year and now to perform. I guess we will find out in a couple of months who can handle it.

Last night during the broadcast one of the announcers mentioned how the Rangers need to adjust their power play to generate offense from downlow as opposed to everything coming from up high. But I think this logic should apply to ES too. One change I'd like to see tonight is for one of the top two lines to generate offense from below the goal line. We have one of the heaviest teams in the league. We should be generating some offense coming off the walls. We did a really really poor job of that last night.

That would be great if we had the players to do it. Instead we have soft as charmin toilet paper zibs, strome, krieder (pretends not to be), and so on in our top 6.

Indeed. Apparently Zibanejad (despite growing up in Sweden) cheered for Finland when he was young and when he was 15 they tried to arrange the dual citizenship for him so he could attend the top U15 Finnish prospects camp in Finland. Didn't make it in time, so he played for Sweden.

He does speak some Finnish, but not good enough so that he could have all the regular conversations with Kakko in Finnish.

Well, it can't be worse than last night's debacle so we got that going for us. Hopefully there is a method to Gallant's madness but so far I'm unimpressed. Tinordi and Georgiev are trash, Miller needs to be sent down for a while, and Jones, Lundkvist, and Kravs should have made the team. Rotate in Hunt, Gauthier, and Reaves.
