She doesn’t even need to face the camera for us to know she can do better.

In the 1st intermission Hunt is interviewed and he looks like he's ready to collapse from exhaustion.

In the 2nd intermission Kreider is interviewed and looks like he was relaxing with a glass of Port.
Hunt was exhausted. Krieder made John stutter and breath hard.

Part of me likes the move for two reasons

first we ALL felt this was the right spot for kakko long term. The timing is odd obviously but that doesn’t change that

secondly. I kind of like gallant having faith in his players. He thinks they’ll win regardless. He can tweak after a win. There’s a swagger to that line of thinking. He was having fun with the media this afternoon about it. He expects to win and doing what he wants with the roster doesn’t change that

the special teams really makes it difficult to get going and these refs probably aren’t done with the nonsense.

Couple other thoughts

I like Lundkvists game for the most part tonight even if he has no business in the show right now

this is as dialed in as Shesterkin has been for a couple weeks

the lines arent good but i feel like Gallant is just testing them out while we play against half of an AHL team

2-0 on the road. No complaints so far—they’re getting it done.

There's been way too many penalties this game for the lines to get into any kind of flow. Both teams are choppy and disjointed. I'd be fine running these lines out again; in theory, Kakko should be able to play more to his style. He probably won't put up as many points as when he is being Panarin's errand boy, but why not put him in a position where he is expected to do more? He's ready for it.

She’s wearing a Zibby jersey. She got low standards.

Ehh, only if she bought it in the last few months.

But she’s dating an Islanders fan who looks like my scrotum when I don’t shave for a week so… it’s true, her standards are low. And yet, he’s competing for the Phil Kessel without an NHL contract award. Which is a single undercooked hot dog.

not enough.

No penalties, hard forecheck, support the puck, simple tape to tape passes, get it behind the AHL defense and go to work. Force them make a play.

Saw it 3 shifts tonight and one of them resulted in a goal
