I would agree. I think that he earned a shot with a pretty good camp performance but that never translated into anything tangible. I actually had some hopes for him coming out of camp and but he has shown next to nothing.Problem with Lettieri for me is that he just looks like a good AHL player that can't do the same things at the NHL level. His positioning isn't great/instinctive like it needs to be for a guy who wants to be a shooter, he works hard but isn't particularly good along the boards or at winning battles, he tries but it just doesn't come together like it does at the AHL level. Sure not playing with McLeod would help but while I could watch Chytil and to some extent Andersson (though I haven't seen a ton of his game since the callup) and see them consistently flash or do good things, I don't see that much from Lettieri
