Night is complete other than Barzal

I have manpassion for Howden
I love him to. But YOU GOTTA SEND A MESSAGE TO THE LEAGUE TO NOT f*** WITH YOU. After three rabbit punches to the head from Barzal I would have turned around and broke my stuck across his f***ing teeth then gone after the first guy to come at me

He didnt see a second of ice after the turnover that led to the eventual game winner.

I don't have an issue with him sitting for a game or two....

Though if he sits, that would leave Staal as the only guy on D who hasn't been scratched this year which is laughable.

Staal is playing cushy minutes and is excelling with them.

Skjei is playing difficult minutes and is having trouble with them.

the difference is expectations. Staal is required to play like he belongs in one of the 6 D spots. Skjei is required to play like he's a 2-3 dman. Skjei has the tools however he simply can't put it together--he hasn't looked good all season in my opinion, and at this point I know DeAngelo is carrying him

What would some of you mutants want ADA to do there.he was thrown a hospital pass He was on his backhand against the boards. Tried to throw it to the corner but got blocked and he got outmuscled by a bigger guy at the end of a shift.

Can't blame it on him. that was a great forecheck by the isles player. ADA even ended up beating him to the puck but got pick pocketed again

That's what ADA would've done. And the universe of referees would have been on him faster than a pack of wolves going after a pigeon's leg

Chytil scored, Howden got a point... This would be enjoyable if not for the fact that Lias is being wasted on the 4th line. It's the Chytil problem all over again.

Well, it took Quinn about 15 games to move Chytil up.... He may be doing the same with Andersson, and if that's the case, then I'm OK with it. These guys are babies. Chytil 19, Andersson 20. They're not home run prospects they are still learning

I don't mind them playing 4th line minutes to learn defense, but nobody can learn a thing playing with McLeod and Lettieri.
One thing that pisses me off is that we have a decent version of what McLeod is supposed to be in Beleskey and we refuse to try him as our 4th line "enforcer".

Needs to simplify. Every time I see him take the puck deep down into the corner and behind the net, I know the play is 75% going the other way and into our net

He is one of the guys on this team that is going to take 50 games to get the AVitis out of him...

Skjei did really well in his 1st year when there was no pressure on him. Shattenkirk showed up and took a lot of his points, and then AV had him playing this rover role which he was never suited for, but AV being AV made him do it anyways.

He'll be OK. he is only 24 and under contract until he is 29-30. he'll be OK

I hope you're right. Just makes a lot of high risk plays

Missed this game. Sat in traffic for 6 hours trying to come home from work. I guess nobody told Governor Murphy a snow storm was coming.

Hmmm. On the fence on that. Feel like Skjei's leash is quite long

Maybe we should look into other options concerning B. Skjei, because he really struggle this season. Libor Hajek is more likely ready next year training camp to step into a top 4 D role and he is 21 years old with better physic?
