I just don’t see Howden having Chytil or Kravstov’s offensive upside.

I could see the case for Howden over Lias, for sure, but Chytil/Kravstov just have too much game breaking ability for me to even consider Howden above them.

I do believe Howden may have more offensive upside than we were led to believe, but I just don’t see a game breaking player there. I think he can be a steady 50 pt 2nd line center.

Guys like Howden, Pionk and Georgiev probably won't even make the top 5 and these guys are establishing themselves as legit NHL players.

I also will be voting for Howden in the 4th spot ahead of Lias and Miller (and Lundkvist)

WJC shouldn't really be depicted as a good gauge for the prospects. It helps, but it doesn't justify the season entirely. Plus, the prospects have been playing for about 2-4 months already. Might as well get their midseason rankings in prior to the storm, you know?

Besides, most of NYR's guys won't be in the WJC anyway.... (4 at most)
No, but we literally just finished this a few months ago. Most seasons aren't even 1/3 of the way done yet.

Torn between Kravtsov and Miller. Chytil is great, but I don’t believe his ceiling is as high as people say.

1. Kravtsov
2. Miller
3. Chytil
4. Shestyorkin
5. Pionk
6. Howden
7. Lundkvist
8. Hajek
9. Andersson
10. Keane

Eh, I know what you mean, AK, but by the same token, we've seen SO much raw talent from him over the last two years that has gone, almost mysteriously, unrewarded, I almost feel like it's a reversion to the norm.

Oh, I am not saying he doesn't deserve the votes, but if this poll was held a week ago, I don't think it would be so clear-cut for the no 1 spot
