There have been some average players who spent long stints as a Flyer:
Joe Watson
Tom Bladon
Andre Dupont
Bob Kelly
But all the above played on both Cup teams and skated in 14 Cup finals between them with Philly.

But today’s brain trust is enamored with a bottom 6 journeyman who has spent his career playing for a team that usually misses the playoffs.

Yay team

Also, Therien got career tenure

Every time Brian Boucher talks about dumb HockeyGuy stuff, I think about Tyler Boucher and his 5 points in 31 AHL games.

It just needed to be said.

Obviously there are bad picks / busts in every draft, but what was Ottawa thinking here. Most pre-draft rankings had him in the 2nd round and they take him at 10? My son played against him a few times, plus being local and Bouch's kid, so I sort of ended up following his career. I know he had injuries and covid messed things up, but he never seemed to be a player that you would take a gamble at 10 on. I know a guy who's kid made it pretty far in those USA Hockey camps where they pick the NDTP players from and he said everyone was shocked that Boucher made the U17 team. I guess being a nepo helps. I've also heard he's kind of an ass and not very smart.

Boosh out here talking about how Frost needs to bend some knees. He obviously has no problem with that.

I really want to know if he really believes all this company line stuff he says, or is just contractually bound to do so.
