He had the assist on the Girardi game winner in game 7, and he started the play that led to the winning goal in game 6. He was also the only player who seemed able to get the puck out of our defensive zone (something the team struggled with all series against Washington).

He wasn't a world-beater, but without him hitting another level in the last two games, we don't beat Ottawa.

Agreed, especially in a fight. I don't want guys in our jersey getting punched in the head repeatedly, I don't care who's fighting.
