It's so hard to gauge him at this point because he's stuck with Staal. Although, I don't know if he's fared all that well with any other D partner.

His metrics are bad with any partner so far, but I don't know how much he's played with them all.

I do know that he has an explosive skillset though.

And he's a young guy getting thrown to the wolves right now. Quinn was literally hired to work with these developing guys, so let him play 25 minutes a game this year if that's the coach wants; the organization isn't gonna rush him out the door if he takes a year to settle in.

One thing Quinn needs to get better at is adjustments to the other teams strategies: Detroits been packing the slot Torts style the whole game and we kept trying to bring the puck into the slot/around the net instead of blasting point shots at their faces
