Between 1:20 and 1:00 of the first, Krieder was caught in no man's land and thats when Sam said Montreal had their best shift of the period because they got two point shots. CK was in between the Montreal forwards that were down low and the Montreal point men. When they moved it up to the point, he was too low to get back up to pressure, let alone block, the shots that were coming from up there. That's part of our system and he didn't execute as well as Torts would like probably.

It's little things like that that he needs to learn to get in the lineup consistently, from Torts perspective i'm guessing.
I have no doubt he will learn things like this and be in the lineup consistently by the end of the season.
I thought his defense was good. Torts played hm a hell of a lot more than i expected. i expected 6 minutes the entire game and he played over 6 minutes in teh first

This Coors commercial.just blows my mind.

It makes no sense.

Dude everyone knows if you throw the Sun down a tunnel, a frozen train full of beer will come out and you'll party in the street with hot chicks.

It's science.

He's the only Ranger this game with an over 50% faceoff pct.

What does that have to do with giveaways??

And I don't care too much about it because Miller plays with a ton of confidence and swagger. I agree when he gets used to the speed he will be more successful, but I see him as always being a guy that gives away a ton because of his style.

Every now and then I start asking myself why I keep checking in on HF and all the nonsense on some of these threads.

Then a post like this comes along and all is good again.

My post probably sounded pessimistic, but i thought he was good too. I didn't mean to disregard the 19 min that came before that play, but just point out one instance that i feel that Torts will show on the video and try to correct. I loved the shot he took and the aggressiveness and speed he's showing.
