I think he just has to get used to the speed of the game and I think he will be fine eventually.
If he plays well teh rest of the game i hope they keep him up for a little while. You acnt keep sending him up and down especially if he has a strong game

Hagelin continues to impress, even by the very high standards I've set for him. Our best forward by far in that period.

McD tops on D, HM for Staal when he saved Strålman vs Cole. It looked like Cole would go right through Anton before Staal came and backed him up.

Kreider looked better, but still looks a bit lost. Miller continues to look out of place, he is TOO calm with the puck and the opposition just eats him up. He hasn't adapted to the higher pace of the NHL yet.

Between 1:20 and 1:00 of the first, Krieder was caught in no man's land and thats when Sam said Montreal had their best shift of the period because they got two point shots. CK was in between the Montreal forwards that were down low and the Montreal point men. When they moved it up to the point, he was too low to get back up to pressure, let alone block, the shots that were coming from up there. That's part of our system and he didn't execute as well as Torts would like probably.

It's little things like that that he needs to learn to get in the lineup consistently, from Torts perspective i'm guessing.
I have no doubt he will learn things like this and be in the lineup consistently by the end of the season.

I'm not sure if this has been asked/answered but has anyone else noticed how much we've used our heritage jerseys this year? Any reason for this?
