We’re really going to be carried by our goalie for another 10+ years
It’s actually ok but they can’t pretend to be the 85 Oilers without scoring a bunch. At the moment they are playing pond hockey but not scoring. If they want to play pond hockey they have got to score. If they’re going to rely on the goalie, just own it. Focus on D. Clear the slot. This team is schizo.

We're so bad at exits and with the defensemen we have we shouldn't be.

It's because we have zero real centers. We have a collection of offense-first wingers who take faceoffs part-time.

The best real center on the team is Kevin Rooney.
.
The problem is we have a center or panarin support the d on breakout but then our other 2 forwards are standing at the opposite blue line at each end standing still. Then we dump the puck in with no momentum to get close to winning a puck race let alone a puck battle.

Zib is really taking a torch to any good will he’s built up since being traded here. It’s extraordinarily concerning that he seems to have nose dived off a cliff since getting paid.

Strome seems to have just come back to earth a bit. If you’re not truly a good hockey player, chemistry will only carry you so far. It seems we’ve reached that limit.

Fil hasn’t seemed like someone with top six potential.

That kind of performance down the middle? Yeah, you’re gonna be in trouble.

Ziba seems allergic to carrying the puck. Remember his 40 goal tear he was like a locomotive through the neutral zone then would rip a writer. Now the puck is a grenade.

I have trouble deciding if Fox or Shesterkin is the best player on the team. It's close, which says a lot about Shesterkin.

That's why the 4th line is the best line on the team.

Zibs and Strome both drift if not outright go up the boards on breakouts and in the neutral zone instead of just existing in them middle where something good might happen. Just soft.

And absolutely ZERO speed through the middle, either way. What happened to Zib seriously? They ONLY turn it on if there is an odd man rush up the ice, otherwise they just float about in circles and wait for a PP opportunity. And this after GG wanted them to pick up their games?

In Zib's case, you don't say "well it's still early in the season." Instead, you think "well it's still early in his contract term."

All relative..

I am so scared we will resign Ryan strome. I will go streaking the day he is released from this team.

I might go streaking anyway, but it will very happy streaking

Everyone harping on KAM... he's stumbled but he's stumbled trying to make plays... Trouba is literally failing defending. Doing absolutely nothing but puck watch. From his first shift you knew he would be horrible

Hate to interrupt normally scheduled programming, but introducing my new LOVE of my life. Meet Sandy. My little play love nickname is "puddin". Yeah, from Batman. She is a Havernese. I am now without one arm and one leg.

My issue is mostly we have no plan with the puck. There’s never any pressure/forecheck. No puck support to make plays. No one knows what each other is supposed to be doing or where they’ll be. That’s pond hockey. This is the NHL.
