I'm glad I didn't stay awake to watch the Calgary game. I wish tonight was also a 10pm start so I had a reason not to watch them get obliterated on home ice.

It seems a bit disingenuous to mention Blackwell alongside Hajek and Geogiev when it comes to the xpansion draft, seeing as the most logical protection list separates them based on position.
Unless you think we should have gone the 8 skater option? But even then Georgiev isn't part of the equation and I'd be very interested to know what 7 other ayers you would have kept to make sure we could hang on to Blackwell.

I wouldn't call Florida a powerhouse yet but Tampa is because they developed a bunch of 2nd and 3rd rounders into studs. Scouting but mostly development imo... You see it in Detroit now, a lot of the kids are producing already. Yzerman apparently knows what he's doing

Point, Kucherov, Palat, Cirielli, Cernak, Killorn... that's impressive to say the least... also UDFA Gourde.. They hit on their top picks and the gamble on a goalie in the 1st paid off.

Of course the two players we got from them turned into nothing.... and our top picks have been floundering. Hockey is different here.
 
What game # is this? I've already lost all excitement.

Same ol' Rangers. I'm warming up to Torts 3.0

And Zibanejad, I just wouldn't f***ing put out there. I'll go back to the old AV 11-6 and let him watch the whole game from the bench. Stu Bickel his ass. That's right, I'm putting a Torts compound in an AV pipe bomb.

I would just like to see the Rangers put more than five even strength shots on net per period. Five on Five they are completely listless and boring. Gallant keeps saying " We played a good first 25 minutes" because the score was close. But he never acknowledges the Rangers on most nights are flaccid offensively 5 on 5. Maybe they will surprise us tonight and put up a shot barrage on Knight. Maybe FLA plays a bad game and we win. basically this is as positive I can be at this point. Things need to be addressed and they are not.

they didn't call anyone up, so I assume Chytil can play... or Goodrow is centering 3rd line with Gauthier in?

Forget Georgiev, I threw him in there out of frustration. But I would've kept Blackwell on the forwards or skaters list depending on the option.
