Wouldn't mind seeing a little emotion in this one tonight. Team is 1 pt out of last place in the east. Both clubs below them have games in hand.
In the last game Marchand gave Panarin the business. Can't let that happen to your superstar. EVER! Buchnevich was pissed, but the game was on the line. In the heat of the moment nothing happened.
Tough OT loss to a good team. Now Panarin is out of the lineup.


If ever, there was a leader on this team, now is the time to step it up. Throw a couple of big hits. Maybe drop the mitts?

It just flies in the face of Quinn's argument that everyone needs to be held accountable. Its my big issue with Quinn. Any of the kids had a game as bad as Strome's and they'd be sitting an entire period.

Kreider is the guy that has to flatten or at least take them[Pasta-Bergeron-RatFace or Debrusk].... out hard enough they will notice to payback the Panarin treatment...he has the A....now earn it or give it to Lindgren .

Game 2 of the SCF was more consequential but that was till this day the biggest heartbreak game for me for the Rangers, maybe including the Giants too.

How do you categorize Drury? Star player for old Buffalo, an old Ranger but not a star.

I generally think of the 08-09 NY Rangers as a team without a star skater once Jagr departed. Naslund, Gomez, Drury, Zherdev were all just 1B or 2A players. One of the reasons why the Gaborik acquisition was so hyped.

There has to be a response on Marchand tonight. For the sake of Panarin and for the psyche of this team both presently and future. Draw a line in the sand. Otherwise it’ll be the same old MO, soft easy team to play against. The organization keeps preaching how they want to be a north south fast aggressive team yet they’re the furthest thing from it. My money is on Lindgren starting shit with Marchand at some point tonight, there’s a history there.

It’s just reality. Our kids are generally wingers and we have the wing depth to adjust their minutes according to their play. It is impossible to bench Strome unless you want Howden as the 2C and I don’t even know who as the 3C.

As much as I'd love to see it, and you may be right about Lindgren getting into it, the way to catch a rat in the new NHL is with a trap. Sad but true. Chirp him until he freaks or chokes.
