While I think Kakko deserves to be in the 1st unit, at this point I think DQ is trying to get Laf going and no better opportunity than the 1st PP unit to achieve that. Kakko IS going right now, he doesn't need the confidence boost as much right now.

Anyone know what radio station the game is on? Have a drive ahead of me and I can't even remember the last time I listened to the game on the radio haha.
 
Stats bear out what we've seen for Shesterkin. Broken plays are what have sunk him so far, he's performed above expected on every other type of goal.
 
Based on Laf's historical "intangibles" I would love to see him throw a hit on his first shift, maybe even on The Rat to get the boys going.

I feel like he is trying to play his role as a rookie, but I feel like if he asserts himself as if he is "the guy" then we will see that translate into his offensive game.
 
Laf on the 1st line is going to be exciting to watch. Hopefully Quinn wont move him down after one f***ing missplay.
