and with that we're finished. I'm on a flight Christmas day so won't have a bunch of time but I'll try to double check rosters once they get officially published to make sure everyone is on there. I suggest everyone doing the same for their roster at some point before the tournament starts.

We haven’t even started and my team is already in trouble. Hugo Havelid gave up a softie in the last game vs Switzerland and he sat through the first two periods against the US (while Thelin played well), only to come in for the third and get absolutely lit up!

At least the guys that chose their goalies later got a high end player to make up for it. I used a high pick on a goaltender that’s going to be warming the bench.

I just went down through all the rosters. 3 teams have left spot(s) open. Germany has an open goaltender slot. Czechia has 2 open skater spots(12F/6D rostered), Slovakia has 1 open skater spot(12F/7D rostered). Apparently Villiam Kmec's name on the iihf website is Jozef so that's been edited. Yes it's the same player. There was 1 additional player picked that wasn't on a roster

Minnetian wasn't on the American roster and they didn't leave any spots open so he for sure won't be added so you can make a replacement pick whenever you're ready. If play has started prior to your selection than any games started will not count for your pick.

That being said, I'll take one of Canada's replacements, Ty Nelson. Not sure how much ice he'll see, but he'll probably be able to produce a few points.

Absolutely shocked that Hugo Havelid managed to hang on to the starting job for Sweden after his pre-tourney performance, but he did look pretty sharp today. I'll happily collect the shutout bonus on that win.
