Prospect Info: #129 Arseny Gritsyuk RW

All of the goals here this season seem to be entirely finishing off the rush. His biggest value to the team could be a pass finisher. Just position well and get open; there's enough playmakers on this squad right now.

I, for one, think he's gonna be something (with the right supporting cast. )

We basically knew the KHL change of schedule precluded Grits from contributing this season. So status quo there.

I also think the Devils will have to sign and burn his ELC to get him here so next year he will be on a real contract of some sort.

There’s definitely not enough playmaking on this team. Sure the top 6 is talented but the bottom 6 is one of the worst in the league. There’s no one who can create anything. I don’t think Gritsyuk needs to be a top 6 guy. Like sure he could go there but I also think upgrading on Palat in the top 6 and having a 3rd line of Gritsyuk-insert good 3C-Mercer looks like a great 3rd line.

I agree with most of what what you're saying. Mind you, I'm only seeing highlight clips, but I'm not seeing grinding play making in his game. I'm seeing pure competence in motion, and I think it may be top 6 or bust/

Another assist for Gritsyuk on a Nikishin goal as he completes the hat trick. SKA ties the game at 4 with 3 and a half minutes left
