Been saying it all year, I need Demidov on the top line with Gritsyuk and Glotov. Demidov just ended up out there with them for a shift and they completely dominated the puck for like 30-45 second in the OZ. Moved the puck around great and created good chances. Then Glotov scores with Gritsyuk screening out front

Red Star looks like the Devils. It’s 6-0 SKA halfway through the game. Gritsyuk comes up with the puck in the corner and tosses it to the front of the net. Bounces around and Zykov puts it in. Don’t think he got credited with an assist

Gritsyuk one timer goal on the PP to make it 7-0 before the end of the 2nd. Been waiting for him to be involved on a PP goal to bring it up. SKA uses 2D on their PP1 with Nikishin-Deangelo and then 0 on PP2. They have a forward in Glotov running the point

Demidov picks up primary assist #4. Sick play to spin and intercept a pass then sends it out front to Plotnikov and he has all the time in the world to score. I NEED DEMIDOV-GRITSYUK

I try not to take it for granted that we can get high quality clips from European leagues. It wasn't that long ago that Detroit found Pavel Datsyuk by accident and the other teams missed him because it was a pain in the butt to travel to see his team play a home game.

So Red Star has one guy with an agonized look on his face trying really hard and 17 other guys doing bong hits on the bench before they go out for a shift?

Gritsyuk last one on his line to change and briefly on the ice with Demidov. He sauces it over to Demidov on a rush and Demidov rings it off both pipes. I swear every single time Gritsyuk-Demidov end up on the together no matter how brief it is there's a great scoring chance.

This is Gritsyuk`s subscriptionsin in instagram. Rotenberg is a coach and director of SKA.

It`s a good news. SKA use forechecking strategy and they have really great coaches and physical coaches. Gritsyuk should leave SKA as a better 200-foot player.

Of couse, it`s a rumor still. You can find a couple of familiar names.

As We said before, Gritsyuk signed the deal to play in the right circumstances for his development. Now he is playing like a solid winger who can win puck battles regularly and cover his zone, in the same time being in the top of the score race of the league.

I hope Fitz will make right job and give him good deal.

To my knowledge as has been said here, the deal is an ELC deal regardless. It’s not up to Fitz. Now if they choose to burn the deal in-season for the playoffs is one thing, but don’t think the KHL/NHL seasons line up.

He can sign the deal after the season will end but before 1st July or something like that and burn ELC. I believe that’s what he wants.

Seeing how that went last time with Gusev I can’t imagine we’d be too keen to give him some big boy deal right off the bat. While I do think Gritsyuk will pan out better I think it’s hard to take that risk. Even if it’s not the ELC year I don’t think it should be more than like 2 mil for a year. I really don’t think asking for an ELC year is being unreasonable. Kuzmenko played an ELC year and he was older coming off a similarly impressive season

2-3 mil for one year would be good for both sides. Of course if he agree to sign ELC - I don’t see any problem, I just dont wait for it. I believe they will figure it out, but they should have strong desire to figure it out. Gritsyuk was very interested in nhl career before, he is looking for nhl, he is a friend with many nhlers.
I believe lack of clear conversations with him didn’t help and trades of his buddies Shakir and Zakhar(who has 13 points in 20 games now btw) don’t help too. But, like I said, from everything I saw, he is already looking for the next step.
