Yes, he did dive. Latta didn't even touch him, then Scheifele was laying on the ice as if he took an Ovechkin slapshot to his forehead.

Yeah, that's not what happened. He went for the knee/elbow combo and luckily didn't really connect on either of them. Very dirty and certainly not a dive.

Latta's elbow was dirty. But it missed. The refs did not assess him a penalty for it.

Wilson got a double minor which was the wrong call.

I only saw one replay of it but it looked like Latta was lining up a hit and Scheifele tried to jump out of the way at the last second. Didn't see an intentional knee there but it's hard to see with one angle, Latta's elbow was definitely up though.

I must not be watching the same video. Scheifele is watching Trouba/Latta then Wilson comes over to Scheifele and crosschecks him in the arms. Scheifele catches Wilson out of the corner of his eye and braces himself to get hit by Wilson. They scrum for a couple seconds then Wilson grabs Scheifele by the face (kind of a right hook) and throws him to the ice. Stuart really does nothing but falls on to the two of them. I don't know why you are calling Stuart an idiot. Wilson is a well known fighter and he's battling it out with the Jets young star, of course he's going to come in.
