Perhaps he should try not being detrimental to the Blackhawks winning, and playing like the top pairing defenseman he is paid to be? I would honestly accept him just being a steady, mistake free calming presence for the young players, and not a f***ing train wreck.

I've defended Jones in the past, especially over the salary crap. But I fully expect people to jump on him when he's been playing like garbage, even if the bad play isn't 100% on him. He's supposedly a leader and the 1D to this team.

As for Brodie, I don't why you're look to jump to his defense. If Jones has been garbage since his return, Brodie has been hot garbage the entire season. I wouldn't be surprised if 30-40% of the team's goals against were at least partly Brodie's fault.
