45vmore games this season with $9.5 (barring injury again)..can you take it and still retain your sanity...especialky when you realize this course has 5 MORE seasons with him to cone AFTER this season.

How can anyone not go insane at the thought of enduring this catastrophe.

I just want the kids to play together. And for the love of God, can we stop playing Bedard with Brodie or Jones on the ice every f***ing shift? Put the useless veterans together and let them play against the top lines on the other team, and give the kids favorable matchups, and keep them together. Stop trying to find a "balanced" lineup. Put Vlasic with a young D, play them with Bedard's line, and let them play with a ton of offensive zone draws and favorable matchups.

Get Hall the f*** away from Bedard, as well. He is useless. It should be TT there with Bertuzzi.

Stop trying to ice a team that wins, because it's not possible with this collection of stiffs, and focus on what's important. Developing your young core pieces and putting them into positions to succeed.

If Hawks are to suck at least I want to see 06-08 Hawks type of plan, etc

Seriously look at all the young talent that played in that period (Not all of it worked out of course)

I underlined something else we have yet to see from Davidson and that is willingness to trade for guys who aren't working out elsewhere but are still young. Alot of times it doesn't work out but sometimes you end up hitting a HR because change of scenery does wonders for some young players

The choice was keep what bowman was doing, being the kings (at best) -more likely the current Pens are what they would be now. It takes time. Those players in 06-08 weren't 18-20 year olds except 1st and 3rd picks. That's normal. It just takes time.

zero players you listed were 06 or after draft picks. (other than T&K) You don't get that in 2 years, most of those are 02/03/04 drafts, so you need 4 years out. So 4 years out from 2022, when they really started this rebuild, is what you want the team to be at already, but that's not now.

The lack of trades for young guys point now is fair, he needs to get more of that now.

Frankly I was more into watching The Wolves than the blackhawks in 02-06, that era was dreadful

I couldn’t watch last night. How did Nazar look? One assist in 8 games isn’t exactly the start I think anyone was hoping to see. His TOI has gone down from 16, to 14, to 12 minutes over last few games I noticed. Wonder if he’s Rockford bound soon.

Likely a bottom 3 team this year, for the 3rd straight season. Possibly dead last this season even. They’re on pace for less points this year vs last season.

Without a major move or two probably a bottom 3 team next year as well.

The future of this team is bleak. We might realistically be in year 5 or 6 of Bedard before they are even remotely competitive.

Seth returns and they’ve now lost 4 in a row and look absolutely terrible giving up 19 goals in 4 games

Seth Jones since return 4 losses ..he is -5 (2 games of -3 ,1 +1 game ,and 1 even game)....going back to 3 games prior to his getting i injured he is -9 for his last 7GP.(he was -4 over those 3 games prior to his triumphant Tank return).

His rancidx "effort" in allowing Dallas rushers to take pucks to Hawks net offtge Dallas left wing could be described with adjectives lije:

Every season I had hope that those teams would make the playoffs. I liked Zhamnov. Amonte was my favorite Hawk at the time. Sullivan and Nylander were great secondary scorers. Calder was a mucker who could chip in. Arnason came out of no where and showed promise. There was hope every season and the hockey was decent.

Now, I don't know what the heck I am watching. It's a rip it down to the foundation rebuild with no prospect fully ready to be a full timer except Bedard and the rest are band aids.

You aren't excited about the 4th line penalty killing ace in the hole they took with the 19th pick? He's really really really REALLY fast! I mean he's super fast. He doesn't project to be much of a scorer, but he's fast.

Yes, Nazar was coming on the ice on a change. He marked the weakside winger on the right side then turned to the center of the ice before realizing he was f***ed. A straight line to the winger might have prevented the goal.

Edit: The entire sequence on that goal is a cluster f***.

Davidson needs a long look in the mirror with the current state of the team. Lu Rich or Soronsen, this is the worst team in hockey.

Considering he made a goal for improvement, he better get his ass in gear for next year. Maybe a couple of real NHL Cs and not throwing kids who will be NHL wings in the fire as Cs. He’s now set up for a situation that hampers the development of Korchinski last year, and Reichel plus Nazar here. Go find a player or two who can play C. It’s pathetic. Team doesn’t have a hope in hell with 3 kids down the middle. Scotty Bowman couldn’t coach up this group
