Why is Grigorenko up? Send the kid down if you're going to give him 2:44 of ice time, jesus this organization is a ******* mess.

I wouldn't mind throwing him on ennis' line and seeing if they can actually get something going. It's not like any line besides VHP has gotten any pressure on the isles so far

Leino plays defense? :D

They have nearly nothing from their bottom 6 most nights. Hecht's a shell of his former self -- I wouldn't mind if he was getting fourth line minutes at ES and PK time, but he's drawing in on those minutes Leino would probably have. Any sort of possession for those guys would be novel.

Leino catches a lot of flack (and deservedly so after his season last year) but his possession game and passing skills are way better than rest of the bottom 6 including Grigs at this stage of his career. There would be much improved zone time and I think the output of Ott, Grigs, and Gerbe would improve with Leino playing.

He would also be another good candidate to replace Stafford for the times when he is a useless sack (like now).

is the answer jesus

Kind of random but how has McNabb been playing recently? We could really use a defenseman on this team who will clear the crease and at least put a guy against the boards. This group of defenseman outside of Weber is as soft as warm butter.

I love watching the Sabres, really look forward to games, and to see this crap on the ice is sick. I can take loosing but not watching more than half the team looking totally "lost in space." They are out of position, they play timid, the list goes on. I really can't believe this is the product Ruff puts on the ice. You have one the top 5 lines in the league, they have been dominating games and the rest of your team, sans Miller, is completly uncapable of making simple hockey plays. This team lacks fire from the top. I hope the people from outside the organization, Pittsburgh guys, look at the culture Darcy/Ruff have made and honestly tell Pegula that it's the coach, it's just time for him to go.

I'm worried that if this team doesn't have a disastrous season Ruff will stick around. This team could make the playoffs :/.
