Had a colleague tell me today that apparently there is a limit on the number of legs you can put on a single parlay. It is 25. He figured it out while he was making a parlay for the first round of the Australian Open. He may have a problem.

The Child has had her first ice skating lesson. She was scared at first because she was certain they would make her play full contact hockey with adults. She did not believe us when we told her this would not happen. She kept worrying about it. And we'd tell her that wouldn't happen. And we'd get the most skeptical look possible with "oooookkkkk," as if we are the simple thick morons for doubting it could happen.

She did fine. Stayed on her feet better than the other kids. She's tiny so center of gravity favors her. She has assured us that she hates it, but that she will do all 7 lessons to make sure. For a kid who hates it, she's sure had an excited look in her eyes as she talks about it.
