Good fight. Can’t believe they didn’t stop it.

I’d love if the rest of the sports world could talk about reffing like Sarrano’s cut man

Fellas, this is exactly what was planned. Huge payday for both, and an easy fight for both. Did we really think Jake was going to lose to a 58 year old? Did we really think he was gonna beat the ass of a 58 year old? Did we really think a 58 year old was going to beat an active fighter's ass?

The last time I got hyped for a Tyson fight was the one where he bit Holyfield's ear off. Should have learned back then. As DP said, that was exactly as expected and was obvious by round 2/3. It's not like Tyson was ever a great boxer anyway. He was just a beast for a nice little run. Pretty sure the average fight in his prime lasted less than five minutes tops. Maybe less than two.

That first initial footwork Tyson did at the very start was fast, kind of erratic, but it caught Jake off guard and he head was left wide open. Tyson could have rocked him. Instead Tyson weaved his own head and backed up.
Like I thought the fix was in.
I was just hoping Jake hit Tyson with a shot he wasn’t expecting and the beast came out.

Caught the women fighting today.

Hell of a match. Respect to Katie, but Serrano was a treat to watch. A lot of ferocity in that little body.

Opening card fight was an influencer that was 2-2-2 against a boxer from India that didn’t bother to do any conditioning for the fight.

I thought it was hilarious. Nunes had a solid enough grasp of basic defense. But he had no idea what the hell to do with Goyat, who had a weird style. And the second he started trying to sacrifice defense to push, he got punished. He was a one trick pony who wasn't remarkable at his one trick

I'll take "that was f***in' weird" for an opening fight any time. Gimme a circus as a little opening treat.

My favorite opener ever was for a local match where a guy had to drop and they used an emergency ringer on zero notice. Not only had this ringer clearly never boxed before, I'm not sure he ever did any kind of fighting outside of video games. His guard included raising his knee up to cover his torso like Sagat in Street Fighter 2. While throwing wild suicidal haymakers at random. It was hilarious. Took the real fighter over half the match to figure out what the hell to even do with the maniac. And the ringer had that look of a guy who is homeless by choice, for the experience of it, which explains how he somehow got it in his head to bullshit his way into that spot.

The announcers were so angry, but it was comedy
