Today is a great day because I was making potato soup and after 10 mins started smelling burning and I apparently didn't whisk the flower enough because it was all burnt to the bottom of the Dutch oven and now I have been scraping and scrubbing and soaking for the last hour all the while hoping the soup (transfered to another pot) isn't ruined

As long as you can't taste the scorch in the salvaged soup, you should be okay. May have to add more flour or roux though.

No, just cooking. I thought all the flour was dissolved but it wasn't

It's kind of my job but we don't really have too many techy customers anymore.

Barkeeper's would probably help, but mostly steel wool, elbow grease, and the hottest water you can stand. You'll have to re-season the pot, but that's unavoidable at this point. Good luck!

Oh, it's truly f***ed up and we know that the only people that will be truly harmed are the people not in congress or are the richest people. They play with our lives with no regard for f***ing shit and doing childish bullshit like this really shows just how they are people that are clearly unfit to lead even a f***ing Denny's.

Ah yes that time when I needed to order Peanuts Every Sunday box sets in bulk and you offered your loading dock. Good times.

Got the first two sets. Still hunting for the 70s and 80s. 90s I should probalby scoop up soon before that goes out of print and becomes a pain in the butt to get.
 


A 71 year old hiker went missing in August. Sadly his remains were discovered 2 weeks ago. His Jack Russel terrier dog never left his corpse and stayed with him. The dog lost about half of its original weight, but is recovering after being taken in by other family members.
