Today is a great day because I was making potato soup and after 10 mins started smelling burning and I apparently didn't whisk the flower enough because it was all burnt to the bottom of the Dutch oven and now I have been scraping and scrubbing and soaking for the last hour all the while hoping the soup (transfered to another pot) isn't ruined

No, just cooking. I thought all the flour was dissolved but it wasn't

Barkeeper's would probably help, but mostly steel wool, elbow grease, and the hottest water you can stand. You'll have to re-season the pot, but that's unavoidable at this point. Good luck!

Oh, it's truly f***ed up and we know that the only people that will be truly harmed are the people not in congress or are the richest people. A 71 year old hiker went missing in August. Sadly his remains were discovered 2 weeks ago. His Jack Russel terrier dog never left his corpse and stayed with him. The dog lost about half of its original weight, but is recovering after being taken in by other family members.
