Words can't describe how awesome/beautiful it was. The weather was great, especially the first day. I'll have to give a full trip report, but if you ever get the chance to go, don't say no. It's totally worth every penny. I'm trying to figure out how/when I can get back there again.

Coastal courses are so nice! Our trip to PEI was cancelled due to Hurricane Lee. Instead, we are booked this weekend for 2 rounds in Moncton, New Brunswick. Playing 2 courses I have never played before. Hope to get some good pics!

I'd shoot a 130 on that course and enjoy every second of it

Out there, it all depends on how the wind is blowing. Our first round was at Sheep Ranch and it was sunny, reasonably warm, and the winds were calm. I ended up shooting a 73 because there was no wind. They said on windy days, the winds will blow 30-40mph, which makes it an entirely different course.

But yes, that is a place no matter what you shoot, you can't get mad because the views are absolutely stunning. I'm already trying to find a way to get back there. Thinking maybe like 2027.

That sucks about your trip being ruined because of the hurricane, but at least you've got something planned for this weekend. I can't remember if you've said it before or not, but have you ever had the chance to play Cabot?

This is actually a pretty good beginner camera and it comes with an 18mm - 55mm kit lens:

Canon - EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Video Camera with 18-55mm Lens - Black

This is usually available in-store at most big box stores. I'd see if there are any open-box options available, too. I started on a Rebel myself.

No i have not. I want to, but we can play in PEI for so much cheaper. Cabot will only let you book their course if you also book their lodgings. But hopefully someday we will bite the bullet and book.

Dude, one of my good friends lives up in the mountains of NW Jersey and her apt complex is infested with these f***ers. They have the fake owls out and everything but there must be like 30 of them just chillin there all the time in the neighboring trees. It really is creepy. Their necks are the weirdest.

And their shits are enormous. Occasionally I'll get the pic of vulture shit on her car in the group chat lol

I actually don’t mind them but they drive my smaller dog crazy. I guess she thinks we’re being invaded by aliens. When they fly overhead she chases them around the yard.
