I hate this whole 'just read excerpts' from books stuff. That's just stupid. You need to read the entire work to get the work. I got really pissed reading about a school district changing the reading of the book about Japanese internment (also other Asians) in WII in Farewell To Manzanar to instead just teaching a couple pages of 'excerpts' from the story.

This is the message of the Internet, more so social media: find the parts of science, literature, philosophy, etc., that support your position and reinforce your biases. Context is old fashioned.

We really should be making stronger efforts in nuclear fission for now. MSRs have some really nice benefits and even gen 5(?) LWRs are much safer than people think.

Monitoring radiation is easy but yet people seem to care very little about monitoring pollution from chemical plants/etc.

I doubt most people even realize that nuclear fuel are pellets and not some liquid green goo.

Renewable energy is great (solar/wind/..) when used properly but even dams have large negative effects. Energy storage is also very problematic since batteries now use a lot of rare earth minerals.

Nuclear is also objectively the coolest.

There is another guy in the frame who punches a hillbilly so hard he goes from the left side of the video to out of frame on the right side of the video. Then Aquabro delivers a Rock Bottom with the original guy delivering a real dramatic stomp to finish him off.

It's certainly a limiting factor but the closer you approach the speed of light the slower time moves as well. If you're traveling at 99.9999999% of the speed of light most of the "travel time" is relatively quick. It's really beyond my level of understanding and probably level of intelligence.

Length contraction at the speed of light is an interesting........ theory/idea.

PBS Space time is a fantastic youtube channel that deep dives into a lot of the stuff. I also really really like ScienceClic English as well. It really warped my way of thinking of electro magnetism as an electrical engineer.
