I had 2 VW Jettas and am now on my third Audi. The first VW had a weird leak at the dash and the car filled with like an inch of water once, other than that haven’t had a single problem with any of them.

My next car will be electric so I’m waiting to see what Audi comes out with in the next year or so. The E-Tron GT is all kinds of awesome but a bit pricey. HC could probably buy one with spare change he finds in the sofa though.

I had a Passat and it was a nightmare. After seeing the car doctor like 4 times in 7 months for a dying battery (it was a solid 40% chance the car would be dead any time I went to drive it) the dealership finally found out the rear passenger side window motor was drawing power from my battery. They fixed it, then a month later my overhead dome light started acting faulty. Would glow for a second and dim off randomly when the car wasn't on. Then it got totalled thankfully after a drunk driver hit me. Well, really I hit her because she ran a stop sign. But you know what I mean.

It's anecdotal I know but boy I'm never going back lol

I was thinking of getting one of them but my Volt keeps going strong. Hasn't had one single major repair. Probably jinxed myself but giving myself about 2 more years and then starting my search. The Kia and Hyundai SUV EV's are really good apparently. There will be a lot to choose from in a few more years so holding tight.

They've started with the high end models but are supposed to be changing over their entire fleet to electric in the coming years. So "cheaper" models should be arriving, like models based on the A3 and A4.

Don’t know when I will ever get a EV. I have a 2019 Chevy Traxx. Only has 30k miles. Bought it with 700 miles on it in 2020. Been reliable so far.
