So yeah he was/is essentially in a prison that given the inhabitants doesn’t really have the normal prison rules/politics amongst inmates.
Obviously some of those informants or cops could have violent pasts but he was probably attacked for something he did there in that moment rather than because he was a pedo.
Don't know if anyone else here subscribes to The NY Times, and if you do, it might not matter too much since you would have a subscription to the Athletic as part of your Times subscription, but this is pretty shocking all the same.

I played for 20 years. Almost a year after I stopped, I got a call from someone who needed a player for a rec level team. Had a solid game at 2nd base, and hit the ball well. Felt great, until I tried to get out of bed the next morning, and I emphasize "tried."

For them the payment is printed money the Fed gave to them for free anyway as a primary dealer bank...so ultimately yes they don't really pay back anything. The banking system especially when it comes to the 3 TBTF banks of Wells, BoA and JPMorgan is one huge shell or confidence game...
But you know..poor people need to go to work for their pittance of public assistance....lol. That will really make a dent in the deficit...
