Man I dont know if anyone watched that show "Alone".10 items to survive, self camera, last the longest and win the money. Northern Sask this year.

One guy went like a week without eating really anything, tried to cook his belt - and eat it. Couldnt do it.

Tried one last trip to find some food, fainted - they time lapsed it guess he was out about an hour? Had to call for med evac, and cried on the way out that he still wanted to stay but his body wouldn't let him. Apologized to his wife that his best wasn't good enough.

Great show. Balls of steel.

Not really a fan of Mark Cavendish but it does suck to see his quest to break the all time record for TdF stage wins end the way it did today. I don’t think it’s been reported yet but certainly looked like a broken collarbone.

Alone is the only survival show I watch. Only one that’s real imo. The spin offs are garbage though.

Are indeed.

You might remember Greg Ovens from the Patagonia season. He’s got a decent YouTube channel with adventure back out to the Island, and other stuff.

It’s worth a watch some of those, really enjoy them!

Clay Hayes a recent winner also has one, along with Zach Fowler although I’d say that one is a little more for the yuppies.

Gotta be honest, I have a hard time remembering the ones who I’m not currently talking shit on to my wife. Even those I promptly forget their names after they tap out.
I’ve always been terrible with names in general.
I can recognize a character that hasn’t worked since 1987 but I couldn’t tell you their name.

When you load up this site and go to HFBoards.com.- does anyone ever have an add like hiding on the full page? I try to click on the flyers link but it takes me to amazon, or whatever ad is on the site. It's like hidden, not the banner on the bottom, but wont let me click on anything on the site
