I’m starting to feel bad for HCette. Opinions on the type of music aside… I got her tickets for Morgan Wallen for Christmas because she had wanted to see him for years. Six weeks before the concert he was put on six weeks vocal rest so they had to postpone the show (til next year).

So I felt bad and saw Luke Combs was playing at the Linc so I got her tickets for the show tonight.

We got here around 7PM with the expectation that he was going on at 9PM. We sat at a table until 8:45. Got up and went to the seats. Sat there for two minutes and they tell everyone to seek shelter because of a severe thunderstorm watch. Now she’s sitting on the floor six months pregnant being a trooper.
We went to. Kind of spur of the moment, my wife found club level tickets fairly cheap on stubhub, didn't realize it was view blocked as the tickets said unobstructed view...so called stubhub, they tried to contact seller who didn't respond. They told us they would send us a list of alternatives...the email came but said that no alternatives were available....so 4 calls back and forth later one of the managers ended up giving us a refund and a $100 voucher. We just ended up using the voucher for cheaper tickets - ended up spending $30 after using the voucher. So saw Luke Combs for $15 a piece.

We had to wait for my daughter to get to sleep then we get down to the complex at around 8:30, couldn't find anywhere to park, found a random lot that was unattended and ended up parking in there for free. As soon as we get up to the stadium they are about to close the gates cause it was about to start storming. We still had screenshots of the club level tickets we ended up getting refunded for, used them to sneak into the club level and sit in AC, drinking expensive drinks until he finally started to play at 11

It only took a short period of time in human history to go from people being worked to death and paid on scrip (truck currency) to people paying tons of money on stupid costumes.

Humans really have too much free time at this point. People from the 1800s would have put this guy in the loony bin a long time ago.

Morgan Wallen took off like a rocketship. Pop country fans are interesting. Same with Swifties.

In regards to concerts I highly everyone check out TickPick, the price you see is the exact price you'll pay.

They probably would have killed him for being so weird back then, just to get him out of the gene pool.

That sounds awful.

I remember I went to a Taylor Swift concert at the link with an ex and her mom and same thing happened. There was a storm and they made everyone go into the concourse. It was a hot ass night and her mom started having a panic attack and almost fainted. They brought her into a medical room and we got to sit in there until the show started.

Also, gratz on the sex. When's she due? We got one coming end of October
I was at that one. That storm looked like it was going to hang around, thinking it would be cancelled we left, and by the time we got in the highway, the show resumed.

I believe you are a military man, yes? Thank you for your service first and foremost. I mean that as sincerely as I can.

That being said, isn't part of military training learning how to read radar? Pretty sure there was a guy on MASH named Radar. You let your kids down, and more importantly, Taylor. What would your drill instructor think?

Also, anyone else in SEPA think there's a twister coming? I'm about to go to OZ with these winds

Yep. Nope. Military service amounts to “go do this because reasons”

Anyone big into horse racing? What's the big difference between racing in the states and say...UK? and which is more...exciting
