Huh, so you can't access Twitter threads unless you have a Twitter account now...

If only we unintiated couldn't see tweets so I could be spared the endless posting of Flyers Twitter idiots here.

As someone who is perma-banned, this is unfortunate.

26 years ago, Tyson bit of Holyfield's ear.

I was there! By there I don't mean at the fight. I went to my Jamaican buddy's place in North(ish) Philly to watch it because he had a "chip" for his cable box. Was all excited for a night of underage drinking, watching a great fight, and crashing there. Then that happened and I drove home after barely finishing a few gulps from my 40 lol. One of the most anticlimactic things I've ever seen

Now that all that draft silliness is done, let's get back to business. I want to know more about these S hooks. Do either of you have a link or picture of this? Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm honestly hoping that I'm the one being stupid here. If they couldn't roll that thing enough they'd be stuck dont there? Is that really how they designed it?

If you or someone you know had a catalytic converter cut off and stolen in the Philly area, it may have been passed through this front.

TDI Towing in Port Richmond ran a seemingly 'legit' towing business, but also operated as the buyers of stolen catalytic converters. They spent $8.2m buying over 27,000 of them in the last 3 years... spending almost $10,000 each night on the amount they took in.

We had three stolen one night about a year or so ago. We were lucky comparatively speaking. The water company down the street had ~60 stolen.

My friend got his taken in Denver.

To the masses: correct me if I'm wrong but don't most newer cars have them inaccessible?

Not yet to my knowledge. Companies are selling "anti theft" skid plates for them.

The whole problem is pretty rampant nation wide.

If you ask me a few things to be implemented to solve the problem. Tougher punishments, potentially better exhaust designs (it's not easy to place a catalytic converter in the engine bay), and forcing any scrap yard to present vehicle titles for each individual converter.
