People think you can't finish your adventure through the intersection if the light turns red. As long as you have started your adventure on a green and can SAFELY finish your adventure, you can proceed as the light turns red, whether you're turning or continuing through. This is exactly why every intersection has a 3 second delay on their lights.

Is this seriously an issue in Ameroland?

I'll reduce my criticism of Vancouver drivers a little bit.

In the city is pretty understood but you also get extra shit down there which drifts into the illegal/dangerous realm.

But yeah I live outside the city where some people will sit behind that line in that situation until the light turns green again.

If I’m behind Taylor in that clip I’m getting across that light with him too for example.

A while ago I was at a red light outside of the Oxford Valley Mall (Bucks Co) , and a car coming right to left was waiting for traffic to turn left. Light turns red, she goes, someone coming left to right goes through the just turned red light and clips the turning car. Everyone was OK. I waited for the cops as a witness. When I told the cop what happened, he replied that the turning car had the right of way, so she could clear the intersection. Even though the light was red, she was not even half at fault.

That does not seem correct at all. She ran the light.

Yeah it should be at least 2 cars pulled ahead of the line and then turning on red if needed. If not the turning lane starts getting backed up. Now of course, this would all be fixed if the put Green left arrows at every intersection like this.

There's a light near my house where there's no threat of oncoming traffic while the light is red and turning right.

I absolutely cannot stand pulling up to it when the light just turned red because I stop like i'm supposed to. I've been beeped at countless times for stopping at a god damn red light because the cars will just make that turn not even slowing down when it's red. It's maddening.

How does my cat know when I sit on the toilet?

Cats are known for their keen senses and ability to pick up on subtle cues in their environment. When it comes to your cat knowing when you're sitting on the toilet, there are a few factors that could contribute to their awareness:

1. Sound: Cats have excellent hearing, and they can often hear the sound of you moving or sitting down on the toilet seat. The sound of the seat or lid opening or closing, or the noise of you settling onto the seat, can alert your cat to your presence in the bathroom.

2. Routine and Behavior: Cats are creatures of habit and pay close attention to their human's daily routines. If using the toilet is part of your regular routine, your cat may have noticed the pattern and associated it with your presence in the bathroom.

3. Smell: Cats have a highly developed sense of smell, and they can detect subtle changes in the scent of their environment. When you use the bathroom, there may be different smells or odors associated with that activity, and your cat might pick up on those changes.

4. Body Language and Energy: Cats are also very perceptive when it comes to reading human body language and energy. When you head towards the bathroom, your cat may pick up on your movements or changes in your behavior, such as your walking speed or the way you hold your body, which can signal that something different is happening.

It's important to remember that every cat is unique, and individual cats may have different levels of awareness or reactions to their owner using the toilet. Some cats may simply be curious about your activities or may have learned to associate the bathroom with certain interactions or attention from you.

She was in the middle of the intersection waiting to turn left. I guess that means it is ok to progress in while green, not wait back before the intersection for traffic to clear, prior to entering.

I have seen flashing arrows that allow left turns"if clear." Yellow locally, Red in either MD or Del. I almost had a head on crash with. Woman that floored it through a flashing yellow...
