You should always salt your grapefruit. Makes a difference for sure.
I would put a little sugar on grapefruit halves, but then I just started eating red ones like oranges. I do put a little salt on cantaloupe, got that from a grandmother.

Monkeys are just outright assholes..

When I was a kid there was a pet store on Frankford Ave (I think it was around/near Cottman) that had a monkey (it was not for sale) and that thing was a god damn menace (I mean, I wouldn't want to stay in small enclosure either, but still).

When the shop was closing they were selling it for like $1000, wouldn't shock me if it ended up maiming someone.

Reminds of that woman years ago that got attacked by her friend's chimpanzee and had her face and fingers eaten off leaving her disfigured. Oprah exploited her on her show by bringing her on as a guest. I remember listening to Stern mock Oprah for it which was kind of ironic but I remember how the lady explained how the chimp had been aggressive towards her previously and one time grabbed her hair through his cage and was slamming her head back and forth against it like some wrestling steel cage match. Howard's comment was funny......"why the eff did you go back there???"
