I can't remember when I was more down on the Rangers just 6 days ago. I can't remember the last time I felt this positive as the last two games. We won't be cup contenders or anything but man the future is bright.

Really solid effort. Had some more bad mixed in too but overall an impressive showing.

2 beauty goals. Chytil really looking confident out there.

Lindgren looks pretty competent out there though he got abused on the SAT front. Hajek really coming around too. Skjei also quietly putting together a string of good hockey. The D is looking really good at getting the puck out quickly. When they get pinned they can get exposed and swim around aimlessly for stretches. But if they separate the puck quickly it is out and going the other way.

Kakko does 1-2 things a game that impress me. He has another 2-3 moments that are "so close" to being great but the execution slips or the D is on him. I know many (including me) were hoping he would come out of the box a little more polished. But I have no doubt as he continues to develop and the game "slows down" a bit he is going to be a great player.

Lias...again I just don't understand the usage. Don't understand the plan there. Kid needs to play more, and if not here it should be in the AHL.

On Rangers perspective Georgievs game looks just stunning!

In all fairness, the Rangers have played significantly better in front of Georgiev...for whatever reason. They both have 6 GP but Hank's faced 69 HD shots to 41 for Georgiev.

Still loving Geo's play regardless.

Btw, now that I've really focused on it in person, Trouba is a sneaky good stick handler and very evasive with forecheckers.

He had a good game and was physically involved. Forgot who it was, but one of the Preds tried to cut into the slot in period three and ate some shoulder pads for his troubles, didn't look pleasant.

This is one of those games you're happy to win but you still come out of pissed off. The referees weren't very good in this one and they were particularly awful at the end. It's like they wanted Nashville to tie it up. Chytil gets taken down--no call--Johansen goes down Hajek goes off--then somewhere midway through the Nashville powerplay one of their guys crosschecks one of our guys (I think Lindgren) in the back who goes face forward into the corner boards---no f***ing call. They let Nashville get away with a lot and I don't think it's just us.

True, but if you look Henriks given goals per game it has been steady rise for few seasons.
He is losing it. Age is nibbling slowly his reflexes and recovery.

This year is going to be a lot of ups and downs. There will be more times that we (us here on HFBoards not the Rangers lol) and the internet are going to want to tar and feather Quinn, over analyze Corsi, want to punch Smith and/or Strome in the face, and blame Marc Staal for the rotation of our solar system. Patience.

I feel like MSG needs to have Margot Robbie do a PSA before every game "The following team is rebuilding. Please have patience......"

Without Staal, we really do look like a team that should be pushing for a wild card spot! Can't wait to get ZBad back and see how it all fits together!
