Last time I checked there were 60 minutes in a hockey game. No game is secure against the Oilers when we stop playing with 10 minutes left in the 2nd. Then take stupid penalties. Then just skate around our D zone like we're on a penalty kill. Not pick up our defensive assignments. Not clear the puck. Leave players wide open. I can keep going if you'd like.

Kakkling and lafter is very appropriate for them. They aren't taking over games like they were projected to. Kakko needs to drive to the net after controlling the puck like he does. He tries to pass to his linemates. Laf needs to trust his stick handling and slick moves. He seems tk just play hard and simple instead of using his talents. Weird development thus far.

Oilers put one shot short of 40 on Geo and their goalie let in the same with about HALF the shots. At some point you gotta' stop blaming the goalies and blame the play in front of them. This is why goalies don't last in NYC and we're going to keep doing our goalies like this like we did Hank.

He made a lot of easy saves. I liked the defense for the most part, besides for a few moments. Plus the Oilers gained more confidence with each goal (just like we did with Koskinen). Doesn’t happen with Igor in net.

Under different circumstances I’d agree, but the eye test was very plain for this one. Georgiev couldn’t stop a decent shot. The Oilers threw everything at the net because they saw that. That’s why they had a lot of shots. The Rangers still haven’t learned this. Koskinen sucked too. The problem isn’t we need to stop blaming Georgiev (he sucked). The problem is we should have had 20 more shots ourselves. Both goalies were awful. Throw the puck at the net.

We were forced to play our poop goalie because of injury, I feel like the coaches let you down, if Shesty plays we're pretty easily f***ed that game - instead both teams had what appeared to be an empty net lmao. We all know Shesty can't play every game. This must have been the same logic that had Geo start in Washington and Shesty the following night at home. Tomorrow we have Calgary and Shesty again.
