It's funny how I was between Wallstedt and McTavish, and it's the difference between maybe having a chance at bronze, and being in the conversation for gold.

This is what I get for being a Canadian that irrationally loves Swedes.

Caught up with tonight's wild OT game. No update until tomorrow. I believe I won, by maybe 3 points? Unconfirmed until I update though as scoring may have changed on some goals. We'll find out who won 3rd place as well.

After a thrilling gold medal game I managed to hold onto gold by 3 points over Landymack who takes the silver. Morgs snatches away bronze from spitsfan on the final day with a 5 point effort lead by a win from Wallstadt who also lead to Swedes to bronze. The battle for 3rd was very hotly contested with 5 teams within 4 points of 3rd.

Congrats to Landymack, and Morgs on their medals. Hope you all enjoyed despite the weird timing and the intermittent updates. Hope to see you back in a few months for the normal version again.

Best possible score I can find would have been 86 points with the 4th overall pick

4. McTavish - F - 17 points
17. Zellweger - D - 11 points
24. Kemell - F - 12 points
37. Andrae - D - 8 points
44. Mysak - F - 8 points
57. Puutio - D - 7 points
64. Mazur - F - 7 points
77. Biasca - F - 6 points
84. Rossmy - F - 5 points
97. Jatkola - G - 5 points

Can't help but give myself a nice pat on the back there with 4 of the 5 picks between 24 and 64 were my selections. Needed them to help me win with my 1st rounder Knies not showing up on the scoresheet much.

Congrats, C4G! Thanks for running this pool under difficult circumstances. I’m happy the event will be back to normal in December, but also thankful that we at least got a classic GMG!

As for my team, boy they really died on the vine during the medal round. It was tough to watch some of those low scoring games. That Finland/Sweden game is a couple hours I’ll never get back.

I look forward to seeing everyone back in a few short months!

Congrats C4G on Gold...I'm kinda happy I finally broke the 38 point barrier let alone silver lol. Also thanks to Dave Cameron for splitting up the Othmann-Mctavish-Bedard line.

Congrats TV on last ;)

Congrats on the win C4G. This was my first draft, and I had a lot of fun. Thanks for running it.

Really thought I had a chance at medaling there. But don't worry, I'll rise up from the ashes like a Phoenix in December.
