That was the slowest draft I’ve seen in my lifetime.

The bottom half of the draft was frustrating at times due to the time zone conflicts, but once we got through that the top half got 10 picks done really quickly and we were back at the bottom again. Possibly felt longer because you were surrounded by the Europeans so sometimes had to wait a chunk of time 1 or 2 picks away from your pick. Not their fault though obviously. Having European/BC/Newfoundland/European isn't the greatest recipe for all of us being here at the same time very much.

Getting it all done in 5 days is above average I think especially good when we didn't have any extra time to spare like we usually do.

Hmmm… maybe that’s it. Damn Euros! We should build a wall to keep ‘em out.

I thought that's why they put this big cavern between us but then someone went and left the tap running and it filled up with water and now they can just float across :sarcasm:

May as we'll join the made up names bandwagon and take Bogdans Hodass. Have actually seen him play live though so does exist lol.

Yup.
Bogdans Hodass. Man, the Statsy Pool would’ve had a field day with that name. It’s definitely a most punderful name!

are we at the replacement phase yet?

It is now. You can pick your replacement forward whenever you're ready.

If anyone else for anyone is removed for whatever reason between now and when we start they can pick once you're done

Bad Euros huh! I'd say I did ok, ok last pick I was just too tired to look up for anything but usually I got kinda lucky I was awake for my picks ;)

You were good. There was a couple times I was surprised you were still up. It could have been much worse with the you, tigervixxxen, you, me, Statsy, PrntScrn, spitsfan order I could foresee some significant issues back to back. There were times where a single pick took 10 hours or something because 1 of us was asleep, but once passed the timing was surprisingly good to quickly catch up.

I'm usually better at sending lists when I know I will be gone for a while which probably could have saved us some time once or twice in the second half of the draft. But I think summer got to me, I found it difficult to put in the time and do the research necessary for it. Anyway I think we kept a quite steady pace at about 20 picks per day to get it done in time

Happy we did it again, once the games start I'll be as excited as ever and realize how much I've missed hockey

Really like PrntSctn, 93LEAFS, Morgs, and landymack’s teams. If I had to guess who’s going to win and I’m not allowed to pick myself I’ll guess Landymack

and with that we're done. I believe everyone picked is on a roster. If I'm missing someone you can pick a replacement pick from any team who hasn't yet started a game. Once every team has started then you're out of luck.

Updates will be infrequent for the first 3 days, possibly non-existent as I'm working and recording games so will be behind for a while.

Good luck

Finally caught up to watching the first 2 games just as the 3rd one is about to start. Haven't updated but I believe I got 6 points from 3 players so far so I'll take that.

Updated through 4-0 here in the USA/Germany game. I'll probably get a full update in for today whether that's tonight or tomorrow. I'm working late the next 2 days though so definitely won't be any updates after that until sometime on Friday, possibly Saturday

Would have been nice for Viro to get a point, but hard to complain about 3 points from 3 guys day 1. Need a big day from Sweden!
