This looks enticing. Is it like that man who retired and found a loophole in a particular lottery offering?

Always love it when someone comes up with a method or scheme to win in ways that were not envisaged by those behind it.
Pepsi had a bottle cap with points under it promotion in the 90’s that you would trade in the caps for swag. They jokingly had a jet for like 16 million points, supposedly impossible to gather in the duration of the promotion. Pepsi never said the jet was a gag and one person managed to get the points together and demanded his jet.

I think you’re thinking of Lazlo from the movie Real Genius.

Had the more specific MRI today and the results are showing a 8 mm lesion by my right inner auditory canal. Supposed to be an Acoustic Neuroma, which is benign, and anything less than 1.5 cm is considered to be "small". Still need to go to a specialist to figure out the best option moving forward.

Based on the internet, which Abe Lincoln told me is always correct, surgical removal before 1.5 cm gives the best chances of having no permanent impacts on the various nerves and "services" provided in that area. Basically, get it before it has a chance to tangle into things like your facial nerve and hearing because one they are there, it becomes more difficult to remove without causing facial paralysis and hearing loss.

I'd really rather not wait to see if it gets bigger. It is already causing me to have various symptoms, that led to the tests to begin with, so I say we just cut this sucker out now. Anyone got any surgical tools? Anyone with extensive practice playing Operation gets first dibs.

I think I can spell all of the big words for this procedure, which is really the most important part, especially if we have YouTube in the operating room. @DancingPanther will take care of anesthesia ... and he'll give some to you, too. And with @Captain Dave Poulin's expertise in getting eggs out of chickens, that mass doesn't have a chance!

Oregon is allowing High School kids to sign NIL deals. Is this happening across the country?

House fire update:

Yesterday the two insurance companies were here to inspect the scene (bedroom has been sealed off like a crime scene) so now the demolition of the bedroom can commence. The team is here to tear things apart, and I went in to tell them what I would like to try and save. One of those things is a Sonos speaker that was on a nightstand next to the bed (where the fire started).

I just tested it, and remarkably enough, it still works. So I can highly recommend Sonos. :thumbu:

I haven't thought about Pepsi Points in about 20 years. I do remember sending some in for redemption and I think I got a t-shirt out of it lol

Actually, I was thinking of this: This Retired Mathematician Won $26 Million From State Lotteries ... Legally

They turned it into a movie featuring Bryan Cranston (“Jerry and Marge Go Large”).

too lazy to find the article, but its been become pretty public knowledge that plastic recycling is a giant lie told by oil companies. the numbering actually makes things worse because its too confusing for the general public and just pollutes (for lack of a better term) the pool of things that are actually recyclable. Plus it makes people thing theyre actually doing good things for the environment.

But at least they got to make people feel guilty about ruining the planet if they didnt recycle!

It's also just a lie period. My college's recycling bins got dumped right in to the trash truck. Saw it with my own eyes every week because my dorm window was right over the dumpsters where I belonged.

"To save the planet, Landsbergfan, Magua, and DP aka the Bois™ need a Tesla (f*** Elon) and have to throw 1s and 2s in the recycling bin", says Exxon, after they dumped a billion tons of oil in the Gulf of Mexico while bribing Republicans to slash EPA regulations and climate change measures

About a month ago I picked all of my remaining peppers off of their plants and never got around to getting rid of the plants or winterizing them, I also stopped watering them.
About half of them are flowering or growing the start of peppers. This one, whichever it is, has peppers between 1 1/2-2”.

It was made into a documentary on HBO I believe. There was a cop (he may have been retired) I think somewhere in New England he essentially found a way to cheat those McDonald Monopoly scratch off games they do. It turned into like a whole criminal ring before the Fed came in.
