Not impressed. I see hovering drones all the time.
Don't feel bad for forgetting that birds aren't real and being tricked by a VTOL.
A video played at the event which showed the robot performing basic tasks such as carrying packages around an office and watering a plant. Optimus is being designed to be a capable robot that can be manufactured in high volumes -- millions of units, according to Musk.
And so it begins the ending of humanity.
Damn Bern you feeling a little melancholy today? We had a good run.
Actually, wait, we had a terrible, hateful, self-destructive tumorous progression that lasted centuries longer than it should have.
Lol, it was one of those progressive posts where I stopped and thought, "Wait, it hasn't been good." Then the hyperbole started flowing.Damn Bern you feeling a little melancholy today?
Even his name is perfect for a Bond villain.i knew Musk was a robot himself..or maybe still an alien..alien robot? either way..he is literally one of those guys from the evil genius video games
He's not wrong.Damn Bern you feeling a little melancholy today?
Came here to see who else is eating up the drama in the competitive fishing world (Note: I don't give AF about fish, but this is too good).
Dudes were shoving weights & fillets-o-fish down fish throats when competing in tournaments for prizes like 100K...had been doing it for years.
I've never been so excited by fish.

Alex has waxed on Bradman before:I'm just learning about Don Bradman, the best cricket batsman ever. Now I only know the basics of the game, but f*** this dude's batting average was 100. That means he averaged 100 runs per out. Hitting the ball on the fly over the cricket boundary is 6 runs, and bouncing/rolling it over is 4 runs. You bat until you make an out (ball is caught, wicket is bowled, or wicket is hit before you run past it, like a force out at 1st).
This dude scored 99.96 or something runs per out. That's f***ing unimaginable. I mean do the math! That's boundary after boundary after boundary after boundary.....Second place is in the mid 60s. Is this the most unbreakable record in sports? @Appleyard
Wilt is arguably the 2nd best ever sportsman!
But no one has been close to as dominant as Bradman in a single sport over a career. It is just silly how far ahead of his peers, and the field that came after him, he is. Almost unfathomable really. He is a whole standard deviation above every other sportsperson in any sport in history...
*Bradman was also a great multi-sport player.
Played tennis for his state (actually did not play cricket for 2 years as a teenager as he was one of the best tennis players in Australia, before quitting to focus on cricket).
In his 3rd sport - squash - he was state champion at age 31 after taking it up for fun.
Also had a zero handicap in golf.
Just look at these two graphs. Just insane (first one is best 67 players ever, 2nd is best 87.)

Groundball to Jeltz. He boots it.Shit, that's nothing. I once saw Steve Jeltz belt two homeruns in one game.
