I’m willing to wait one more season. I don’t even know if we’ll make the playoffs but I’ll wait. If we don’t get to the conference finals at the very least, I’m good with a full rebuild. The Devils keep churning out good young players and we keep getting worse. It ain’t happening.

this team has more than enough D, goaltending, and PP to make the playoffs, pretty easily. not even close to winning the cup once a team gets to actually coach against them.

This is why I would rather have Othmann and Cuylle in Hartford for another year. Stay away from nyc and this team. Come in next year ready with hopefully some other young pieces and a year closer to getting rid of Trouba and Panarin contracts.

The Devils also have a 4OA who's pretty good, a 1OA who's pretty good but in the lower tier of 1OA's, and a 2OA who's just a guy. The only homerun was Hughes. They also have a number of busts.

It's almost like they stockpiled picks and had multiple kicks at the can.
