I was kidding just what a figured our coaching staff would doI think Kaiser is better than Brodie at this stage.

He doesn't touch the puck enough in scoring areas. This attempts to address that.I already don't think Bedard touches the puck enough. Not sure I'd like him in the bumper although doesn't hurt to try.
Yeah I have pretty wild fantasies too.Levshunov will relieve Jones from his PP1 duties so at least we have that to look forward to
A waste of talent. What exactly do you call Seth Jones? Is it correct to call him a below-average 1d? He can eat minutes and do 1d things but he does them worse than the "average" 1d. I don't see a contending team trading for him so he can do 1d things. He just seems to be the prototypical "top-pairing" guy that a bad team would ice.
Overpaid #3 trying to make plays but lacks the skill to do it. Forgettable defensively, has a low quality shot for such a big and athletic guyWhat exactly do you call Seth Jones? Folingo line got the sheltered deployment most of the game. Someone make it make sense.
I don’t think think you’d have to add anything if you are eating 3.5 million. I would expect something back in that case. I don’t think they would do that anyway.Seth Jones is just a sunken cost now. I would imagine the best time to try and move him would be the halfway point of his contract, entering the 26/27 season. You could eat 3.5M for the rest of his term and he only costs 6M. You might have to add some draft capital to get rid of the contract though.
Best we can hope is he requests a trade sometime soon because he’s sick of the rebuild. Retain 2 million with the rising cap, it’s easily manageableI don’t think think you’d have to add anything if you are eating 3.5 million. I would expect something back in that case. More likely to me is that they trade him for an underperforming or overpaid forward with a little term.
No reason to move Seth right now. He still logs big minutes

Yeah, hard to disagree really. On his best days he's a #2D on a team with a #1D, on his bad days he's a middle pairing Dman.I was trying to come into this season being overly optimistic with Jones…. In no world is he a 2D right now on a good or bad team. 3D sure I’d give you that but that’s far from a compliment with his salary.

I haven't watched much the last week and a bit. He was impressing me in the first handful of games, compared to what I was used to seeing, but sounds like he's right back to where he has been almost his entire Hawk career. Disappointing.Lately all he has is bad days. From shooting at nothing, to questionable pinches, to not giving up puck.
He had a few good games to start the season but the last two weeks or so now he’s been nothing but awful.
