I haven't watched much the last week and a bit. He was impressing me in the first handful of games, compared to what I was used to seeing, but sounds like he's right back to where he has been almost his entire Hawk career. Disappointing.

Agreed he gave me some hope to salvage the contract the first few games and I was being overly optimistic…. But once that stretch ended it’s just been brutal. Admittedly I didn’t watch periods 2 or 3 last night but he was awful in the 1st period I did watch.

here is your prop bet for tonight: Assuming I go to bed at 10:30, what number is greater....the number of goals the Hawks score in the final 2 periods or the number of times I wake up to pee during that same time frame?

Full disclosure: I'm old and have a questionable bladder.

I definitely won this prop bet and it wasn't even close.

I just watched the 2nd half of the game. Is this what you took from last nights game?

Except for the play of Brodie I thought the boys had a good game as a team. Blackwood was lucky and good. (those two shots by Bedard off the knob of his stick pretty much defined his game)

A few comments: Too many good looks resulted in shots going wide. That giveaway by Connor on the Sharks goal was a deflection off of the official.
Seth had so many chances, just couldn't buy a goal. Bedard mostly out of sync with his linemates. TT has obvious passing talent but his lack of intensity seems will never change - it drives me mad. Donato was one of the better players once again. Bertuzzi was better. Vlasic continues to play well. Hawks defensive coverage still porous at times, especially in covering ops players at the blue line. A tough loss but the effort was there - shit happens.
